You pull at the restraints around your wrists, testing their give, and suddenly a door slides open at the other end of the room. The thing that enters the room inspires you to pull harder even though your wrists hurt—anything to get away from it. Its eyes are bigger than anything you've ever seen, and it's snarling at you, canines bared, reaching out with clawed hands for you. You can't get out of the restraints. All you can do is plead for it to stay away from you.
